Card Munch started with a simple frustration: most tech content online is written to rank, not to help. A “best apps” roundup lists twenty-five options nobody actually compared. A how-to guide covers the easy 90% of a problem and skips the part you actually searched for. We built this site to do the opposite.
What we cover
Card Munch publishes practical, tested coverage across five areas:
- Apps: roundups and comparisons built around real usage, not feature checklists.
- How To: step-by-step guides that cover every scenario, not just the obvious one.
- Gaming: hardware, performance, and setup guides for people who actually play.
- Reviews: honest verdicts, including the limitations a product’s own marketing page won’t mention.
- News: the tech stories worth your attention, explained without the hype.
How we work
Every roundup on this site is narrowed down, not padded out. If we list ten apps, it’s because ten apps earned the spot, not because ten is a round number. Every how-to guide is written to cover the scenario you’re actually dealing with, including the edge cases that generic guides skip. And every limitation we mention is one we’d want to know about before downloading, buying, or trying something ourselves.
We’d rather publish a shorter, more useful list than a longer, padded one. If an app, a setting, or a workaround doesn’t hold up, we say so.
